A benchmarking tool for x86 multi-threaded processors with the display of hardware and CPU information.
wPrime is a free benchmarking tool which focuses on multithreading.
The program utilizes mathematics in order to keep the processor going. It runs your system hot in order to benchmark the performance of your system. wPrime uses code from CPU-Z.
The program interface is similar to some other benchmarking programs and includes options like: Run 32M, Run 1024M, Hardware Info, View Scores and Set Thread Count.
With wPrime, you can use two different benchmarks by calculating either 32 or 1024 million integers (Run 32M or Run 1024M respectively). Once completed, you are given results in a text file.
Overall, wPrime is a popular and useful benchmark utility that provides detailed information about the performance of installed CPUs.
